Knox students enter the Upper School prepared with the necessary foundations to begin their college preparatory course of study. Coursework and independent work becomes more rigorous, and students are expected to manage their time between academics, the arts, athletics and socialization effectively and appropriately. Our advisory program provides support for students in this area; students who need greater academic and organizational support may be invited to enroll in our BOOST program. Upper School students have more than a dozen Advanced Placement (AP) course offerings from which to choose, in addition to academic writing courses to enhance their skills in writing across the curriculum.

“I am now The Visual Arts Representative and am looking to study Art Therapy in college. Knox not only helped me academically and socially but helped me find my love of art and figure out what I want to do with my life.”
